Welcome to my website ! I am Thomas Saillez, a teaching assitant at Université Libre de Bruxelles
and I do a PhD under the supervision of Špela Špenko and Felix Röhrle.
Before working in Brussels, I did a master in mathematics at the Université Catholique de Louvain.
My interests are tropical Jacobian and Prym varieties. More precisely, I am interested in chip firing games over metric graphs
and the tropical analogue of Donagi's n-gonal construction.
My native language is French, I have a working proficiency in English and I also know some Dutch and some Russian.
On the non mathematical side, I enjoy climbing, painting miniatures, playing boardgames and doing silly jokes.
